About Neelie:

Neelie is a regular contributing writer to the AIHR Blog, a speaker and an instructor on several AIHR Certificate Programs, and the face of AIHR’s HR Trends videos. She’s passionate about using her position and expertise to encourage people to consider less common perspectives.

Neelie started her professional career nearly 15 years ago in investment banking. After half a decade of financial markets and derivatives, she realized her career had brought her little professional fulfillment. She subsequently decided to leave the industry, and her passion for writing led her to her first paid opportunity in recruitment technology.
